About Debbie

My work began early on for a well known non profit in Santa Monica, CA
where I attended to and wore multiple hats. My responsibilities ranged from managing staff, and programming, to working directly with homeless women and children, educating teens about the perils of addiction, facilitating groups, coordinating resources, and being a community advocate for wellness. Years later, these skills and passions transitioned to working with a premier dual diagnosis treatment center where the services specialized in attending to acute care with an emphasis on getting to the root of the underlying causes of one's addiction and linking the family for all around healing.

My years of informed skills have led me to understand and appreciate the emotional complexities underlying
impulsive behaviors and the subsequent challenges life can present. In sum, my experience is long held in working with families, youth, and individuals. I am an advocate of wellness.

I have helped many untangle the chaos, bitterness, and anger that accompanies addiction.
My approach is interactive and my theoretical style is tailored to the meet the diverse needs of each individual, couple, and family I serve, and practice from a range modalities including mindfulness, breath work, narrative, family systems, cognitive-behavioral, and stage of change approaches. Many of my clients report prompt relief even after the first session. There are solutions! I am honored to walk you through your journey.
